Embrace Life

Vania Aguirre , of Chicago, Illinois, knows the value of planning ahead. As a member of State Farm Agent Matt Trembley's team, she helps families think about and plan for their futures financially. It was that insight that caused her to have the same conversation with her parents, first-generation immigrants from Mexico, and the center of Vania and her three siblings' world.
Unfortunately, when her parents perished in a car accident, her insight and their intentions weren't enough.
"We never got around to it because we were so busy," she said. "We'd talk about it. 'Yes, we're gonna do it.' But we never did."
In the aftermath, Vania's family struggled to maintain the family home and the many financial pressures of moving forward without her parents. Her struggles have led to a resolve to help others learn from her experience and prepare for the future with life insurance.
"I want to let the community know it's really important – they need to get it," Vania says. "It's not just for them – it's for their famiies."
